Full-Time Optometrist Position

Associate needed in a four-location group practice who will split time between the offices in West Jordan and South Jordan. Each location is a non-commercial private practice. The doctor will be responsible for comprehensive patient care including management of diabetes, glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, and surgical co-management with referral centers; typically up to sixteen comprehensive exams per day, as well as contact lens, medical checks, and post-op visits. Equipment includes Humphrey Visual Field, Optos Daytona, OPD-III autorefraction/topography/keratometry, NCT, Marco TRS automated refracting systems (RT-5100), and Cirrus 5000 OCT.

Both offices are open Mon-Fri, closing at 6pm on Mondays and 5pm the rest of the weekdays; with the West Jordan location also providing patient care on Saturdays from 8am to about 12:30 pm. Generally Saturdays are covered by part-time doctors. $65/hour, as well as health and dental insurance after two months, PTO and Simple IRA after one year, UOA dues paid (as well as registration at the summer meeting and hotel stipend), DOPL/DEA fees and malpractice insurance also covered.
