Full-time or Part-time Optometrist near Park City

We invite you to come join us at Mountain Valley Eye Institute near Park City, Utah! We are a well-established eye clinic in the Jeremy Ranch area. Our practice has been here for 15+ years. We are growing quickly and need help. We are a fully equipped clinic with excellent technician help, optical, and full imaging suite including OCT, HVF, fundus photography, Pentacam, autorefractors, EMR, and plenty of support staff.
The location is excellent with minimal traffic/commute time from SLC. We are located minutes from Park City and Deer Valley ski resorts. We encourage a great work-life balance with PTO included. We are open 8-5 with no holidays or weekends.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments to diagnose visual disorders and prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as necessary.
- Provide patient care by evaluating and treating various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
- Perform pediatric eye exams and provide specialized care for children.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient examinations, diagnoses, treatments, and recommendations.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices, including contact lens hygiene and wearing schedules.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school.
- Valid state license to practice optometry.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Familiarity with optical sales systems and products.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to perform procedures using aseptic technique.
